Thailand
Where Ancient Ritual Meets the Andaman Sea
A Kingdom of Saffron Robes and Limestone Islands
Thailand rewards every kind of traveller. Bangkok hums with fine dining and design, the misty north holds hill-tribe villages and teak temples, and the southern islands rise from turquoise water in dramatic limestone towers. Threaded through it all is a culture of grace that makes every guest feel cared for.
The Thailand Portfolio
Choosing where to stay is half the art of a great Thailand journey. In the cool hills around Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, we favour boutique sanctuaries wrapped in forest and rice fields. In Bangkok, our picks range from riverside icons to design-led hideaways close to the city's best tables. Along the Andaman coast and in the Gulf of Thailand, the portfolio moves from wellness retreats to secluded pool villas on quiet islands, every one personally inspected and chosen for its setting, sense of place and service.

A Land of Contrasts
Thailand is remarkably varied for its size, and our specialists know how to combine its regions into journeys with real rhythm and meaning. Here are a few of the themes we most enjoy building itineraries around for our partners' discerning clients:
Rooftop dining in Bangkok.
Teak temples of Chiang Mai.
Ethical elephant encounters in the far north.
Private longtail adventures around Krabi and Phang Nga.
World-class diving and snorkelling in the Similans.
Barefoot living on Koh Kood.
Family escapes on Phuket.
“Thai hospitality is instinctive; it lives in a smile, a greeting, a small gesture. We choose partners who share that spirit, so that our guests feel welcomed as friends from their very first moment here.”

“I fell for Thailand over a bowl of noodles on a Bangkok street corner. That irresistible mix of warmth, flavour and happy surprise is what we now love to share with every guest.”

Signature Experiences
Three Private Journeys Across the Kingdom
From Bangkok's street kitchens after dark to the craft villages of the north and the rainforest of Khao Sok, each of these journeys reveals a different side of the kingdom. Enjoy one on its own or weave all three into a single unhurried itinerary, with private guides, handpicked hotels and a Kaspr specialist on call from the first day to the last.

Bangkok After Dark
When the heat of the day softens, Bangkok reveals its most electric side. A private guide collects guests by vintage tuk-tuk for a tour of Chinatown's legendary street stalls, sampling crab omelettes, boat noodles and mango sticky rice from cooks who have perfected a single dish over decades. The evening continues through a flower market that never sleeps, a ringside seat at a traditional Muay Thai bout and dinner on a rooftop terrace high above the river. For gourmets, we can finish with a chef's table at one of the city's most celebrated restaurants, booked well ahead and timed to perfection.

The Artisans of the North
Chiang Mai has been a crossroads of craft for centuries, and this journey brings guests face to face with its makers. In the villages around the old city, they meet silk weavers working on wooden looms, silversmiths hammering intricate bowls and potters glazing celadon in the shade of mango trees. A morning at a mountain temple includes a quiet conversation with a resident monk, followed by lunch at a farm kitchen among the rice paddies. Afternoons are free for a massage, a cookery class or a lantern-making workshop, and evenings return to a boutique retreat where teak pavilions overlook the misty hills and the night air carries the scent of jasmine.

Into the Rainforest
Among the oldest rainforests on earth, Khao Sok National Park shelters gibbons, hornbills and the giant rafflesia flower. A naturalist guide leads guests along jungle trails to hidden waterfalls before a longtail boat carries them across emerald Cheow Lan Lake, where sheer limestone cliffs rise straight from the water. Nights are spent in a floating villa moored in a quiet cove, with kayaks at the door, a sundeck over the water and dinner cooked by a private chef. At dawn, mist drifts across the lake as the forest wakes to birdsong. It is a side of Thailand that few travellers ever expect to find, and none forget.
